I'm a former library kid, so I spent high school trying to survive with headphones, hoodies, and tattered Stephen King novels. In my twenties, I was a 4th grade teacher. In my thirties I became a  professional chef. In my forties, I found my true passion: writing. I'm  drawn to stories that weave magic into the tapestry of everyday life, whether it is romance, horror, or fantasy. I live in the mountains of Western North Carolina with my husband, a bunch of snuggly dogs, and two kids who have blocked me on TikTok.
